Projects

These are the main projects I’m currently working on:

• Cloudgene - A workflow system for Hadoop.

• Michigan Imputation Server - Imputation Service based on minimac3 and Cloudgene. A cooperation with the Center of Statistical Genetics, University of Michigan.

• HaploGrep2 - mtDNA haplogroup classification using Phylotree. A cooperation with the Databases and Information Systems Group at the University of Innsbruck.

• mtDNA-Server - A NGS heteroplasmy and contamination pipeline based on Cloudgene. Including a parallelized version of BWA MEM.

• Cloudgene & CloudMan - Cloudgene integration into CloudMan. A cooperation with Enis Afgan, affiliated at Johns Hopkins University & Ruđer Bošković Institute.

• Askimed - Electronic data collection for phenotypes. Used in the EU FP7 project ncRNAPain and in the German Chronic Kidney Disease Study GCKD.
